Eisenlohr's photographs of the interior architecture of the ICC (Berlin's former International Congress Center, closed in 2014) create a dramatization of space. The viewer perceives the ambivalent impression of a future that already passed, combined with an contemporary air. It is a perspective neither connected with the morbidity of dystopian phantasies like Blade Runner, nor with the functional austerity of recent Berlin architecture.
